Hi - I'm Shayla! Sagamore Silver Studio was founded at a time in my life when I took a step back from the 9 to 5 job to find what truly drives my soul. Based in Michigan with a passion for traveling, nature has always called to me. I spent my childhood running barefoot through the woods next to our home, making forts, mud pies, climbing trees, and exploring the wild world around me. As an adult, I find myself drawn to the same things, collecting rocks, loving the smell of dirt on my hands, learning about wildflowers, seeking adventure. To me, Sagamore is not just the name of the neighborhood of my childhood home but the place that shaped me to be who I am. As I taught myself the ways of silversmithing, I've discovered a piece of my soul in jewelry making. I handcraft each piece with sterling silver and set gem stones in my small in-home studio.
